Nebula is another precious girl who’s patiently waiting for her forever home. She arrived at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter (CCAS) in April, and although she came to us heartworm positive, she has since completed her treatment and is now very healthy.
Nebula is a truly special pup. She was diagnosed with epilepsy, and while she’s had a few seizures in the past, her condition is well-managed with anti-seizure medication. Since starting this medication, Nebula has not had any more seizures, and she’s thriving.
Nebula enjoys food and manages to keep her girlish figure while shining as one of our playgroup rock stars, spending her days happily playing with her doggie friends!
She has a gentle, low-key personality and gets along well with both male and female dogs. Nebula is a cuddle bug who loves her special blanket. Though small in stature, she prances around like a little pony and even knows how to “sit pretty.”
Nebula would be an ideal match for a laid-back, home-loving family. We recommend a home with children aged 12 and older, and she would do best in a cat-free home. Nebula is great with other dogs and would love to have a furry friend.
Potential adopters will need to keep her on her meds, which are relatively inexpensive, and needs to have a good relationship with a veterinarian to ensure her continued good health.
If you’d like to meet this precious pup, please visit the shelter during visiting hours. Nebula is ready to bring joy and love to her forever home!
