You may know that in February, CCAS celebrated the completion of a much-needed addition to their facility: a 2200-square-foot multi-purpose room that can be used for everything from meetings and staff training to behavior sessions and – in the event of bad weather – indoor playgroup. (Before the addition of this room, on bad-weather days staff and volunteers had to run playgroup in the shelter garage.)
FCCAS provided an essential tool to make this new space even more versatile: a set of custom-designed room dividers that will enable staff to create dedicated, safe spaces for groups of dogs with differing playgroup needs: big dogs vs. small, rough-and-rowdy players vs. the gentle and dainty types. Shelter administrator Mindy Naticchioni explains, “The custom room dividers for the multi-purpose room will make indoor playgroup efficient and safe for all dog and human participants.”
