Meet Bruce

Meet Bruce: From Fear to Hope, and Now Ready for Home

BruceBruce arrived in our care one year ago in June 2024—a playful, energetic 3-year-old full of promise. But as months passed without interest from adopters, life in a kennel took its toll. The once-outgoing pup developed deep anxiety around strangers, making it difficult for him to connect with potential adopters.

Determined to help him, he was enrolled in a four-week intensive program at Miracle K-9 where he built confidence, learned to stay calm around new peopl, and mastered new skills alongside other dogs. He graduated stronger, steadier—and ready for the next step.

Bruce now lives happily in a foster home. He’s thriving: going on hikes, playing in the yard and helping in the kitchen as the resident taste tester. While Bruce still has moments of anxiety, his transformation has been remarkable.

Bruce is crate trained, housebroken, walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, and even tolerates bath time (with a few grumbles). He’d do best in a patient, adult-only home or one with older children (14+), no cats and no male dogs. He’s available for foster-to-adopt, giving you time to ensure it’s the right match.

Bruce has come so far—and now, he’s ready to keep growing in the comfort of a loving forever home. Could it be yours?

At three years old, Bruce has so much love to give. If you’re ready to offer a patient, understanding home to a dog who has worked so hard to overcome his fears, Bruce might just be the perfect companion for you.
