Our senior pups may have a little extra gray around the muzzle, but they shine with a lifetime of love, loyalty and gratitude just waiting to be shared. These wonderful long-term residents have gentle hearts, steady spirits and an unmatched appreciation for every soft bed, warm cuddle, and kind word. When you adopt a senior dog, you’re not just giving them a home—you’re welcoming a calm, loving companion who’s ready to settle in and make every day sweeter. Consider opening your heart to one of our seniors; they have so much love left to give.
MEET MOUSE

Don’t let the name fool you — At just seven-years-old Mouse is all dog, all heart and all joy wrapped into one irresistible package. This sweet boy lights up at playtime, especially with doggy friends his own size, and dreams of a home where he can run, romp and then curl up next to you for the snuggles he’s earned. He’s friendly, social and always ready for fetch, playgroup fun or simply being near his people.
Mouse would do best with children age 10 and older who can respect his space, and he’ll need a family willing to help him manage his chronic ear infections with regular vet care. Trust us — he is absolutely worth the extra TLC. His gentle soul, loving nature and happy spirit will melt your heart day after day.
He even enjoyed a shelter break in a foster home and was a total gentleman — though he’d prefer a home without cats.
At 224 days in our care as of Monday, 12/1, Mouse is so ready for someone to choose him. If you’re looking for a joyful, loyal companion who gets along beautifully with other dogs and brings love wherever he goes, Mouse might just be your perfect match.

MEET PUMPKIN PIE
Pumpkin Pie is a brown-and-white American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a personality as warm and delightful as her name. Shelter staff estimate she’s about 8 years old.
This seasoned sweetheart has a joyful spirit and a heart full of love. She greets her people with happy wiggles, enjoys cozy cuddle time and has a natural way of making everyone around her smile. Pumpkin Pie would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but she absolutely adores people of all ages—if you’re offering affection, she’s more than happy to return it.
Past the puppy chaos but still full of life, Pumpkin Pie is the perfect mix of mellow companionship and playful charm. If you’re searching for a loyal, people-loving companion who will truly be the heart of your home, Pumpkin Pie is ready to show you just how sweet life can be. 🐾🥧 To learn more, click here.
