Hi, I’m Lazy Susan –
I know what you’re probably thinking… ten years old sounds old. But I hope you’ll keep reading because I have so much love left to give.
You see, I’m not looking for mountains to climb or marathons to run. I’m looking for the simple things now — peaceful walks, soft beds, sunny spots by the window, and someone who smiles when they see me walk into the room.
I’m a pretty easy girl to love. I walk nicely on a leash, enjoy taking slow strolls beside my people, and I’m happiest just being near the humans I care about. I get along with other dogs too, though like many mature ladies, I appreciate friends who understand that sometimes I just like my space.
What I want most isn’t complicated.
I want to know what it feels like to belong.
I want a family who sees gray on my face and realizes that it means I’ve spent years learning how to love deeply, stay loyal, and appreciate every small moment.
I know younger dogs might catch your eye first. They usually do. But sometimes the dog who needs you most is the one quietly waiting, hoping someone will see beyond the number attached to her age.
I may be entering my golden years, but I promise this: if you give me a home, I’ll spend every day making you feel like the best decision I ever made.
