Rover is a handsome 3-year-old Coonhound mix with soulful eyes, a happy spirit and a whole lot of love to give. True to his hound roots, Rover’s favorite pastime is following his nose on new adventures — every walk is an opportunity to explore the world around him!
This affectionate boy adores attention and thrives on spending time with his people. He’s strong and energetic, so he’ll do best with someone who can keep up with his enthusiasm and help him continue polishing his leash manners. Rover would prefer to be the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the love (and belly rubs) for himself.
Rover is in great health and has completed a routine course of antibiotics after testing positive for two common tick-borne conditions. He’s never shown any symptoms and will simply need regular tick prevention and an annual check-up, like any other pup.
